Rainer and Steve are now through CP2 in 3:13 and 3:20 respectively. Rainer has speeded up to warm himself up as the rain is beginning to fall a bit more persistently now. Both are looking very comfortable indeed.
Hopefully our runners aren't too disheartened by the road sign we passed en route from CP1 which said 'Brora 50' compared to the 44.5 mile calculation by our TomTom!
Today is about survival in these unpleasant rainy conditions.
