Time's up for Mel...

Mel got to the 32.1 mile CP 3 and decided that was a good place to finish her JOGLE dream. She covered 262.2 miles in the 4.5 days but today was struggling to make the 4mph needed to get her to the finish in good time for more of the same tomorrow.

Obviously she's down-hearted but she's proud of getting the furthest of any woman on The JOGLE Ultra.

This leaves us with 5 people left out there battling the elements (yes it's tipped it down again today), the blisters and the massive distance they still have to cover.

Even Rainer has gone a little bit easier this afternoon... this race is a bugger! More from CP4 in the stunning location of Dumbarton (twinned with Chernobyl) later...
